Who we are

Prime IT Disposal Ltd("we", "us") provides IT asset disposal, data destruction and recycling services across the UK. We are registered with the Information Commissioner's Office (registration ZC199587) and are committed to protecting the privacy of everyone who uses this website or our services.

Information we collect

When you contact us or request a quote we collect the details you provide: typically your name, company, email address, phone number, collection address and a description of the equipment you need us to handle. Our website may also collect standard technical information such as pages visited, for the purpose of improving the site.

How we use your information

We use your details to respond to enquiries, prepare quotes, arrange collections, issue documentation (such as certificates of data destruction and waste transfer notes) and meet our own legal record-keeping obligations. We do not sell your data, and we do not send marketing communications without your consent.

Data on equipment we process

Equipment we collect may contain personal data. Our entire service is designed to destroy that data securely: devices are handled under documented chain-of-custody controls and data is erased or physically destroyed to certified standards. We never access, read or copy the contents of customer devices except as strictly required to perform verified destruction.

How long we keep information

Enquiry details are retained only as long as needed to handle your enquiry. Records connected to completed jobs — manifests, certificates and waste documentation — are retained to meet legal duty-of-care requirements, then securely deleted.

Cookies and analytics

We use Google Analytics 4, loaded through Google Tag Manager, to understand how visitors use this website: which pages are viewed, and actions such as quote requests, calls and email clicks. Google Analytics cookies (_ga and _ga_<ID>, which last up to two years) are only set if you accept them in the cookie banner.

If you reject them, no analytics cookies are set. Google Analytics then receives only limited, cookieless signals that do not identify you across visits. We don't use advertising cookies.

Your choice is stored in your browser so we don't ask on every visit. You can change it at any time with the "Cookie settings" link at the bottom of every page.

Your rights

Under UK GDPR you have the right to access, correct or request deletion of your personal data, and to object to or restrict its processing. To exercise any of these rights, email info@primeitdisposal.co.uk. You also have the right to complain to the Information Commissioner's Office (ico.org.uk).
